Hi folks! Thanks for checking out my website. Let me tell you a little about what I do.
I'm a freelance musician which means I'll do just about anything for a buck as long as I can cuddle up with my guitar while I do it. Over the years I've worked as a performer, preschool music teacher, staff songwriter, and guitar instructor.
I started my professional career in Brooklyn, NY, where I was the staff songwriter for an early childhood sign language program, Sign-a-Song. One thing led to another and before I knew it I was teaching early childhood music classes and giving private guitar lessons full-time while playing in the critically acclaimed Americana act, The Third Wheel Band with whom I recorded two albums.
After relocating to Buffalo, NY in 2014 I began to focus on fingerstyle guitar which opened new doors for me as a solo performer and teacher. I have served as the Musician-in-Residence at both Oshei Children's Hosptal (2014-2018) and Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (2015-Present).
This is balanced with a busy weekly schedule of private guitar lessons at Main Stage Studios, Mel's School of Music, and early childhood music classes at Island Kids Child Care Center. The time that leaves me with is just enough to take on various writing and recording projects (like commercial jingles) and to gig at local clubs, restaurants, and bars.
I currently have several EPs in the works that will include original tunes and compositions, solo arrangements of jazz standards, and some new-fangled old-time guitar pickin'!
